La source, Taghazout
Just south of Killer are La Source and Mysteries. La Source is named after the fresh water that bubbles up from the rocks and Mysteries… well….
This stretch of coast which is essentially a couple of bays between Anchor and Killers is often worth visiting on smaller swells where you can find a variety of waves. At lower tides, Mysteries can throw up some nice right handers over a kind of submerged point-like rock formation and in general, the breaks around here tend to be better for less experienced surfers. There are a few rocks to watch out for and some shallow spots, but nothing too nasty. When it gets too big, Mysteries just walls up and closes out.

Reef, Beach & Close Out

Mysteries is a reef break with one of the biggest suckiest take offs in the Taghazout area. On certain days the bigger sets leave a tale of quivering tomb stone vertical boards behind them as everyone has been sucked down.
On smaller more manageable days, you get a big take off, great fast run along a lovely wall of a wave and then a close out on a nice beach!
